Simple grab and go items for you hotel stay
Going to a hotel with no refrigerator and no microwave? Here are some great ideas for easy things to take with you so you don’t have to rely soley on restaurants.
Packable breakfast favorites:
- Bagels with peanut butter or Nutella.
- Whole fruits like apples, bananas, and oranges.

- Granola or cereal bars.
Grab and go lunch and dinner options:
- Hummus and veggie wrap
- Nut butter and jelly sandwhices.
- Tuna or chicken packets.
- Crackers with cheese, salami or pepperoni, and fruit.

Healthy snacking:
- Trail mix or nuts
- Pretzels
If you like “spicy” pretzels, you can make these several days ahead: In a large bowl, mix together 1 pkg of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix, 1 Tbl cayenne (that’s hot! make sure to adjust to your liking), 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp lemon pepper. Add 3/4 cusp vegetable oil and mix well. Add 10-12 oz of your favorite pretzels the stir to coat. Spread them out on a large cookie sheet and put into a 250 degree oven for about 10 minutes.

- Baked Apple Chips
Thinly slice two apples and loy on top of a cookie sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle with cinnamon. Put in a 250 degree oven for two hours, flipping halway through. Allow to cool before packaging.
